Kid's Easter Events

Looking to have some fun with the kids for Easter?  Here are two upcoming events in Black River Falls.

Wednesday April 16th is the 1st Annual Pine View Care Center Egg-or-Treat Hunt from 4PM to 5PM. The little ones up to 5 years old will be inside and 5 and over will be outdoors. The Easter Bunny will be there!

On Saturday April 19th from 8:30AM to 11AM Partners of Black River Memorial Hospital are sponsoring the Easter Bunny Brunch at the Black River Falls High School. Enjoy sausage & pancake on a stick or French toast stick, cold cereal, fresh fruit, muffins, milk & coffee. Fun games, door prizes, raffles, face painting, castle bounce and photos with the Easter Bunny & more for $6/person. No Easter Eggs hunt, eggs will be handed out.

A Sign of Spring

ATV/UTV Trails in Jackson County will be closing Saturday March 15th.  The trails will re-open on May 15th.  Hopefully all the snow will be gone by then!

Run Shop and Play

Hopefully May will finally bring the warm temperatures and sunshine of spring when it arrives next week along with these fun events.

May 3rd-5th shop 'til you drop at the Black River Falls CityWide Rummages Sales. Great deals all over town.

Saturday May 4th is the Black River Falls School Forest 5K Fun Run/Walk. Registration begins at 7:15AM and run is at 8AM. Get your registration form at the Black River Falls District website Black River Falls School Forest 5K Fun Run/Walk

Also on Saturday and Sunday is the Lake Arbutus Recreation and Outdoor Sports Show at the Lake Arbutus Pavilion in downtown Hatfield. Visit with shop owners and vendors and find out all the great things to see and do in Hatfield this summer.

Easter Weekend Brunches

If you're looking for good food and fun Easter weekend, there are two events in Black River Falls to check out.

On Saturday April 7th, Brunch with the Easter Bunny will be held at the Black River Falls High School from 8AM to 11AM.  Admission is $6/person and includes brunch and activities, such as face painting, crafts, and games with door prizes.  Weather permitting there will be an Easter Egg Hunt at 11:15AM outdoors.  Proceeds will benefit the Partners of Black River Falls Memorial programs and activities.

On Easter Sunday Brunch will be served at Club 95 from 10:30AM-1:30PM.  The meal will include Lasagna, Broasted Chicken, Ham, BBQ Ribs, Turkey, Breaded Shrimp, a huge salad bar, home made soup and fresh fruit and dessert.  Make your reservations soon.  Club 95 Easter Brunch

Spring comes to Jackson County

How can you tell it's spring? Maybe you look for robins? Or see the the first green sprouts in your garden.

One sure sign of Spring is that all ATV trails have closed as of March 15th.  They will reopen May 15th. Another sign is that Skyline Golf Course will open tomorrow March 17th. Get your tee-time and head out on the links!
