Alma Center Strawberry Festival

June 20th to 22nd the Alma Center Strawberry Festival will be held in Downtown Alma Center. Enjoy carnival rides, fun run, kiddie activities, horseshoe and volleyball tourneys, classic car show. Lots of food including chicken, brats and, of course, strawberry shortcake. Live music Friday and Saturday night; parade Sunday at Noon. Bring the family for three days of fun.

Taylor Old Fashioned Days

May 29th to June 1st are this year's Old Fashioned Days in Taylor. The event kicks off Thursday evening May 28th with the crowning of the Queen at the Taylor gym.  Then enjoy three days of fun filled activities including a truck and tractor pull, poker run, beanbag tournament, carnival, duck race, parade, music, and food.  And admission is free.

Earth Day Clean Up

This Saturday, April 26th, the Friends of the Black River will host their Annual Earth Day Clean Up from 8AM to 11:30AM at Castle Mound State Park in Black River Falls. Kid's Easter Events

Looking to have some fun with the kids for Easter?  Here are two upcoming events in Black River Falls.

Wednesday April 16th is the 1st Annual Pine View Care Center Egg-or-Treat Hunt from 4PM to 5PM. The little ones up to 5 years old will be inside and 5 and over will be outdoors. The Easter Bunny will be there!

On Saturday April 19th from 8:30AM to 11AM Partners of Black River Memorial Hospital are sponsoring the Easter Bunny Brunch at the Black River Falls High School. Enjoy sausage & pancake on a stick or French toast stick, cold cereal, fresh fruit, muffins, milk & coffee. Fun games, door prizes, raffles, face painting, castle bounce and photos with the Easter Bunny & more for $6/person. No Easter Eggs hunt, eggs will be handed out.

ATV & Motorcycle Ice Races

Ice racing returns to Lake Arbutus this Sunday January 19th.  The gates will open at Russell Memorial Park in Hatfield at 8AM and racing begins at 11AM. There are ATV and motorcycle races on the three-tenths mile oval track with both adult and youth divisions. Admission is $5, 12 & under are free. These races sanctioned by Central Wisconsin Ice Racing Association.

Christkindl Festival

This year's Christkindl Festival will be December 6th and 7th. Don't miss the Christmas Tree Lighting on the Jackson County Courthouse Lawn in Black River Falls at 6PM Friday followed by the Candle Light Procession and Father Christmas Coronation. Or bring your glove and eight of your best friends to Millston's 32nd Annual MDA Labor Day Softball Tournament Saturday through Monday at Millston Community Park. They will also be hosting a MDA Horseshoe Tournament and MDA Auction on Saturday, and a MDA Volleyball Tournament on Sunday.

If you'd rather be shopping, the Thunderbird Village Flea Market in Hatfield will be open Saturday through Monday 9AM-5PM with over 160 vendors.
