Cranfest!!!

The last weekend in September always marks the beginning of Cranfest, the world's largest cranberry festival.
This weekend, September 24th-26th, the folks in Warrens will have all things cranberry for you to see and taste, along with arts and crafts, a flee market, and contests. You can even meet the Cranfest Queen and Princesses!
There will be Marsh Tours Friday and Saturday. The Cranfest Parade will begin Sunday at Noon.

Karner Blue Butterfly Festival this weekend

Saturday July 16th marks the 14th Annual Karner Blue Butterfly Festival in downtown Black River Falls.
It will begin with the 6th Annual Karner Blue Race, a 5K, 10K and half-marathon runs, with registration beginning at 7:30AM and the race beginning at 8AM.
There will also be a pancake breakfast, tea, crowning of the Princess, antique car show, rides, games, and a Chicken Dinner starting at 4:30PM.

ATVing unsafe? Jackson County WI thinks so...

The second of two recent deaths on the property occurred over Memorial Day weekend prompting renewed scrutiny. State and local officials have maintained throughout that the Bunkhouse represents a danger adjacent to the public trail system.
